Summary:

As the Meat Cutter, you are responsible for properly cutting various kinds of meat for food service and retail sales and ensuring maximum use of product.

Key Responsibilities:

Properly grade product and assign to accounts.
Sanitize work area and equipment before and after cutting.
Survey all equipment to assure proper working order.
Handle product properly to ensure maximum shelf life.
Properly store excess product.
Finish all orders in a timely manner.
Inform supervisor of any changes or problems.
Follow USDA/HACCP guidelines.
Clean-up work station and department.
Communicate quality issues to supervisors and merchandising.
Weigh and tag product for order.
Help pack meat orders.
Able to fill out and complete USDA/HACCO forms daily.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

High school diploma or GED.
Three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Able to portion control cutting with pork, lamb, beef and poultry
